Alaric J. Errington
Alaric has spent 25 years in a number of executive roles in the UK, USA, the Caribbean, and Europe, including 13 years with Sirius Financial Solutions where he was the Managing Director of the UK broking business and part of the team that completed the management buy-out from Norwich Union and the subsequent float of the business on London’s AIM, and then latterly the Senior VP running their USA and Caribbean businesses.
After establishing and subsequently selling a UK FSA regulated firm (Individual Reference number AJE01097) operating in the UK, Portugal & Spain Errington has spent the past 10 years involved in a number of UK and international projects primarily focusing on development, financing and structuring.
After completing his formal chemistry education in Australia and England, Jon has dedicated his career to product development, design and commercialization of new innovation for manufacturers, venture capitalists and his own projects.
Jon worked for Cadbury Trebor Bassett where he was instrumental in the penetration of the Middle East market. He also spent 4 years with the 2.5 billion GUS group’s International Department in Worcester. He then joined their Research and Development department being part of the launch of the international internet home shopping service at the British Embassy in both Paris and Brussels.
Jon’s other experience includes time with Vespel Holding, an international Innovation and Investment group working with Yet2com, AIN International and a number of high profile project innovation companies, working on product designs including developments in special coatings, anti-counterfeit technologies and super-low friction structures.
Jon also gained additional international experience with ECS as Managing Director working in the oil, gas and specialty products division, prior to its sale to the Isis Group, after developing a range of environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals. He then set up PolyBiotech within the group as Technical Director and started work on an advanced skin disinfection product “PARADIGM,” which was patented in 2007 and subsequently sold off to US Investors in 2009.
Following the sale Jon went on to work on advance wound management systems for Biosystems. Then for a number of VC technology companies including projects for Sanitas PLC to develop and prepare two patents. An antibacterial coating system used in the print industry for product packaging. The second was to design and patent an antibacterial examination glove designed for clinical use by medical practitioners and vets both have now been patented and are currently being commercialized.

Ken was groomed for the big business entrepreneurial world when he began working with his father as a young man. His father, an engineer with several worldwide patents for manufacturing processes and fluid automation, started Liquid Molding Systems in 1985. LMS is the largest buyer of silicon in the world and manufactures multi billions of valves annually, with an employee base of over 200.
There Ken worked closely with production and quality assurance, interacting with the engineers of Dow Corning, to develop specific product formulations for many products, including the now famous Heinz Upside down ketchup bottle and many others. Ken was integral in the development of the manufacturing floor including design, cost cutting processes, setup and the purchase of millions of dollars in machinery, equipment, materials and the qualifying and hiring of appropriate skilled management.
Ken has had several key roles in various companies since then. His passion being product development and relationship development by providing clients with solutions through unique products and services.
